		<description>This is just a thought as I was reading this post and then comments afterwards...If  missions is thrown out, then what would be the reason for the existence of the church?  Isn&#039;t the church in existence because of the mission of God?  If we threw out missions, then we throw out the reason for the church&#039;s existence, do we not?</description>

		<description>It&#039;s hard for me to see the good outweighing the bad, regarding missions in today&#039;s world.  I know I&#039;m in the minority with this view (at least at Baylor/Truett). 

I don&#039;t think it should be thrown out necessarily (though I&#039;m open to that), but I have serious reservations.  I&#039;m still thinking it through...</description>
